Also, jeden Tag, wenn ich auf die Uni und zurueck wandere, faellt mir etwas auf. An fast allen Kreuzungen stehn Polizisten, die mehr oder weniger (manche stehn nur rum, manche hupfen wie wild in der Kreuzung herum) den Verkehr regeln. Man koennte jetzt meinen, dass das ja nicht sonderlich aussergewoehnlich ist. Haha, ist es aber, wie ich finde, denn die Ampeln funktionieren tadellos!!! Und wenn da jemand ueber die Strasse gehn will, obwohl es nicht gruen ist, dann wird der/diejenige von dem Polizisten zurueckgehalten (wenn er halt grad in der Naehe ist) oder danach belehrt. Vielleicht eine Art Beschaeftigungstherapie fuer Polizisten oder Verkehrserziehung fuer Erwachsene!!
Soviel Info fuer heute, am Wochenende ist die Inselbesichtigung geplant.

Every day on my way to university and back something strikes me. At nearly every crossing police officers regulate, more or less (some just stand there and others jump around like madmen/women), the traffic. You could argue that this is nothing extraordinary but I think it is because the traffic lights work properly!!! When someone tries to cross the street without having a green light, then the police officer holds the person back (if he is near enough) or instructs him/her afterwards what and what not to do. It could be a kind od occupational therapy or lessons how to behave at crossings for adults.
That’s it for today. I plan to explore the island at the weekend.
